  • The Beginnings of Meadows Resources

    The nexus of Meadows Resources began with several virtual HR projects for a small group of clients. These projects included general administration tasks with a concentration on Human Resources. Production of employee handbooks and benefits administration followed the writing of company policies and procedures. The projects expanded to handling payroll and 401k administration. These early projects would prove to be the foundation of Meadows Resources. Recruiting for multiple industrial private sector jobs provided another skill set that would become vital. Between viewing résumés from both a recruiting and HR perspective, the art of refining them became blatantly apparent and the first forays into providing service in this capacity was taken. With the establishment and honing of training matrixes and the development of HSE training programs, the understanding of the importance of bringing a workforce together with a singular goal was formed. Finally, the handling of workman’s comp and unemployment administration gave notice to the difficulties of presiding over a large, traditional workforce.

  • Real World Refinement

    Work focus shifted to the student housing industry as a Human Resources director. With locations in multiple states, the ability to translate management and administration over long distances became the focal point. Traveling state-to-state and working in a hands-on capacity was not often possible. The groundwork for being able to apply consistent and reliable virtual administration was developed here. Limitations in traditional applications of HR management were identified and modified in development of a system to operate fluidly online.

  • The Talent Pool Grows

    The first addition to the talent pool came in a writer and editor with a Linguistics degree from the University of Houston. Brought onboard to help refine the company’s message, work quickly expanded. With an initial task of writing a procedure document for an oil & gas firm, work increased to cover multiple projects including: technical writing in the form of manufacturing assembly procedures; promotional document editing for an engineering consulting firm; web site content writing and editing; and blog post editing.

  • Branching Out with new Opportunities and Services

    The customer base was expanded to include retail, hospitality, and start-ups. Event planning led to finding, communicating, and directing quality vendors to provide hospitality services to customers becoming an essential skill. Résumé consultation utilized the vast HR and recruiting experience available; a system was put together to help direct others toward successful fulfillment of their career goals.

  • The Official Launch of Meadows Resources

    The burgeoning idea that started in 2010, which was put in practice on an ever expanding scale over the next five years, was officially launched as Meadows Resources. Further features were quickly added to the business in the form of web & IT, book keeping, and marketing. The enormous experience in recruiting was applied to seek out highly skilled virtuals to create Meadows Resources’ core team. A new web site was designed and launched to showcase and highlight MR’s commitment to providing the best and most accessible virtual back office experience. The groundwork for the company’s first advertisement campaign also took place with a launch date scheduled for the beginning of 2016.
